This was one of the first Pacific sailfish I ever photographed. Guatemala, big swells running all day. She hooked up and breached at the exact moment a wave lifted the surface — the ocean and the fish rising together. I didn't see what I had until I got home and pulled the cards. Twenty years of shooting and this is still one of the frames I'm proudest of.
